This credenza solves the problem of how to house the constantly changing and updated technological entertainment equipment (the television and all of its constantly evolving peripherals). By virtue of its volumetric simplicity, its clear materiality and acknowledgement of gravity it can absorb the varying and often haphazard aesthetics of the electronic components that occupy it.
Made of bamboo, an easily renewable resource, the details take the opportunity to amplify the latent beauty of the laminated bamboo. The subtlety and uniqueness of this material's texture is enhanced by the traces of handwork in the polished stainless steel base that it balances on.
